Books

My second non-fiction book Snouts in the Trough is based on newspaper work I did at the Sunday Tribune between 2009 and 2010. This reporting culminated in the resignation of the Ceann Comhairle (Speaker) of the Irish parliament, the Dáil.

The book was based on thousands of pages of records that had never been reported on before, as well as covering in depth the expenses controversy that dominated politics in Ireland in 2009.

‘Ken Foxe guides us through a shocking period of waste in Irish public life.’ — Sunday Times Culture, 3 October 2010

‘Foxe’s level of detail on individual expense claims is praiseworthy and is sure to succeed in angering many readers.’ — Sunday Business Post Agenda, 3 October 2010
